The FCMQ and Yamaha Motor Canada remit $55,000 to landowners again this year!

Montreal, April 19th, 2018 – The Fédération des clubs de motoneigistes du Québec (FCMQ) is pleased to announce that, again this year, as part of its Landowner appreciation program presented in collaboration with Yamaha Motor Canada, $55,000 in prizes will distributed to landowners to thank them for providing the critical land-use permissions which are the foundation of the Quebec trail network.

Distributed as 55 individual gift certificates valued at $1000 each and redeemable for Yamaha products or vehicles at any Quebec Yamaha dealership, the program provides for one draw per month from January to April in each of the 13 administrative regions that comprise the provincial snowmobile trail network.  Thank you to Yamaha Motor Canada!

Fragile land-use permissions

Quebec’s reputation as a world-class snowmobile destination is made possible in no small part thanks to the generosity of thousands of landowners. The FCMQ wishes to remind trail users of the importance and fragility of our land-use permissions and encourages snowmobilers to stay on groomed trails, respect all trail signage, reduce speed in residential areas and dispose of garbage in an appropriate manner; in other words to adopt responsible behaviour that is respectful of landowners and the environment.

The FCMQ wishes to congratulate all winners who through their granting of land-use permission actively participate in the Landowner appreciation program and thank all landowners who help to ensure the continued existence and sustainability of the world’s foremost snowmobile trail network.
