Trail permit

You must go to the on-line trail permit platform, and enter your email address along with your password.
If you originally had someone else created your account, contact this person in order to retrieve your information. You may also contact the FCMQ customer service.
You must go to the on-line purchase platform, and click on Forgot your password? You will receive an email containing your password. The FCMQ does not have access to this private information.
This indicates that your transaction remains incomplete, you may begin again. If your problem is one of payment mode, please communicate with your financial institution.
Please note, by law, it is forbidden to circulate in the FCMQ trails until such time, you have received and installed your trail permit on your snowmobile.
However, you may use your temporary trail permit, valid for 14 days, (also accepted on your smart phone). This information will be included in the email, confirming your trail permit purchase. You must also have a civil liability insurance.
  1. Canada Post delays vary from 2 to 5 days, added to the time needed to process your order. These delays may increase, particularly during the intense pre sale period.
  2. Validate your postal address in your profile.
  3. Validate that the FCMQ does not have to wait for complentary information on your behalf if you have chosen to purchase your trail permit without insurance. Please note, by law, it is forbidden to circulate in the FCMQ trails until such time, you have received and installed your trail permit on your snowmobile. 
    You will not receive a temporary trail permit if you have purchased your trail permit without insurance.
  4. Following this delay and having validated your information in your profile, call the FCMQ customer service.
Annual and daily trail permits are not reimbursable, and are valid for the full contract period for which they have been purchased.
It is a trail permit good for 1 day, 3 day or 7 day period.
You must fill in the riding date.
 
For example, it is Monday morning and you wish to ride on the upcoming Saturday. During your purchase, simply select the date corresponding to your riding day.
 
Following the confirmation of your purchase, you will receive by email, all the necessary printable or downloadable documents for your ride. You will be able to enjoy the federated trails up to the end of the selected date period.
 
You may change the date on your daily trail permit up to 72hrs prior to the initial chosen date. Within the 72hr time period, the date is no longer modifiable. At all times, are the annual and daily trail permits not reimbursable, and are valid for the full contract period for which they have been purchased.
Once you have received confirmation of your purchase you will no longer be able to modify the information. You must contact customer service at the FCMQ. Please note, we will need proper documents in order to validate the information, if need be.
